17: ZMHS-EVT-GROUP-TOO-MANY-FAILS
This event occurs when the MHS manager unsuccessfully attempts to restart a failed
group. This is a critical event.
Token Descriptions
ZMHS-TKN-GROUP-NAME
is the name of a group object in the OSI/MHS subsystem; maximum length is
42 bytes.
ZEMS-TKN-EMPHASIS
has the value ZSPI-VAL-TRUE, indicating that this is a critical event.
ZEMS-TKN-CONSOLE-PRINT
has the value ZSPI-VAL-TRUE.
Cause. This event occurs when the MHS manager unsuccessfully attempts to restart a
failed group. The group is then set to the STOPPED state.
Recovery. Inspect other recent critical events for the group, identify and resolve the
problem causing the failure, and restart the group using the START command.
Considerations
The MHS manager can generate this event message.
This event message is reported to the primary collector.
