OSI/MHS Commands
•
Obtain current status information about the subsystem and its processes,
applications, classes, and groups
•
Obtain information about the product name and release version of the OSI/MHS
subsystem and its components
•
Obtain statistics about the subsystem and its processes
•
Reinitialize the counters used to collect statistics information for the subsystem’s
processes
•
Start and stop tracing of subsystem process activity
•
Generate and validate passwords used during MTA association establishment
•
Control and validate passwords used when an MS APPL object binds to the message
store
Each programmatic command corresponds to an interactive command that you can issue
through the Subsystem Control Facility, SCF. Table 1-2 shows the correspondence
between interactive SCF commands and their programmatic counterparts.
The table lists the programmatic command names and object names in the full form as
they must be specified in programs. Later in this manual, in text discussions and in the
headings for the command descriptions, the commands and object types appear in a
shortened form (without the ZCOM-CMD- and ZCOM-OBJ- prefixes).
