Command and Response Tokens
For all of the operations in Table 7-4, the reply contains the token zmhs-map-passw-
status, which indicates the result of the operation.
ZMHS-MAP-APPL-NAME
defines the APPL object for which the reque, “Commands and Responses,” for a 
detailed description of the APPLNAME token. The ZMHS-MAP-APPL-NAME 
token consists of the following:
ZMHS-MAP-PASSW
defines a password. This token is optional. Its value depends on the value of 
ZMHS-MAP-PASSW-COMMAND.ZVALUE. Table 7-5 shows what these 
values mean.
ZLENGTH
defines the length of the password.  
ZSTRING
defines the password itself. 
DELETE A DELETE MS 
APPL operation
The ZMHS-MAP-APPL-ORNAME token is 
required and contains the O/R name of the 
APPL object. 
BIND An MS bind 
operation
The ZMHS-MAP-UA-OSI-ADDRESS token 
is optional and contains the OSI address of 
UAs attempting the bind operation over the 
OSI services. This token is not present for co-
located UAs attempting a bind using a 
programmatic interface.
The ZMHS-MAP-PASSW token is required 
and has the value of the password supplied in 
the USER-PASSWORD attribute.
REGISTER A register-MS 
operation
The ZMHS-MAP-PASSW token is required 
and contains the new password being 
proposed. 
The ZMHS-MAP-OLD-PASSW token is 
required and contains the old (current) 
password.
