ADD GROUP Command
SC-PNAME
specifies the process name of the store cleaner process within this group. mhs-
proc-name must be entered as $proc.#pname. The node name cannot be
specified. The process must reside on the same node as the MHS manager.
SC-PRI
specifies the priority at which the store cleaner is to run. If you do not specify this
value, the default value for this group is used.
The additional attribute-spec for the ADD GROUP command when the class is
MS is one of the following attribute name and value combinations. Note that the MSG-
STORE-SV attribute is required when adding a GROUP object of the MS class.
MR-COUNT
specifies the number of MR groups to which this MS can submit messages. This
value is in the range 1 through 5, or SYS. The default value is SYS, which means
the system allocates the MR groups to be used.
MR-NAME
specifies the group name(s) of the MR group(s) that this MS can access. If you
specify SYS in the MR-COUNT attribute, you must not specify this attribute. If you
specify an integer in the MR-COUNT attribute, you must specify an equal number
of MR-NAME attributes. Each group name has a maximum length of 26
alphanumeric characters.
MS-BACKUP
specifies the backup CPU in which the MS process is to run. This attribute is
optional; if you omit it, the backup CPU for the group is assumed. No range
checking is done; however, the maximum value of cpu-number should not
exceed the number of CPUs on the target system minus one (for example, 0 to 7 on
an eight-CPU system).
MS-BIND-PW-SVR
specifies the name of the MS bind password server process. This attribute is
optional. When an APPL object served by this MS group binds on to the MS or uses
the register-MS service to change credentials, the process specified in this attribute
is used to validate the password. Also, this process is accessed when an APPL
