ADD MTA Command
REM-OUR-PASSW-RSP
specifies the password expected from our OSI/MHS in response to the adjacent
MTA's logon attempt. If REM-LOGON-VALIDATION is ON, this attribute is
required. This value has a maximum length of 62 characters. An asterisk (*)
indicates a null password.
REM-PRMD
specifies the private management domain name of the MTA. This value has a
maximum length of 16 characters.
REM-PSELECTOR-(1-7)
defines the P-selector part of the adjacent MTAs OSI address. This value identifies
a presentation layer entity. It is a hexadecimal string with a maximum length of 32
characters, and the string must contain an even number of characters. If you do not
use this part of the address, it has a length of zero and the string portion is blank-
filled.
REM-REMOTE-INIT
specifies whether or not the adjacent MTA can initiate an association to the
OSI/MHS subsystem The default value is ON.
REM-SSELECTOR-(1-7)
defines the S-selector part of the adjacent MTAs OSI address. This value identifies
a session layer entity. It is a hexadecimal string with a maximum length of 32
characters, and the string must contain an even number of characters. If you do not
use this part of the address, it has a length of zero and the string portion is blank-
filled.
REM-THEIR-PASSW
specifies the password expected from the adjacent MTA in a bind indication—that
is, the password an adjacent MTA must provide to access our OSI/MHS subsystem.
If REM-LOGON-VALIDATION is ON, this attribute is required. This value has a
maximum length of 62 characters. A null password can be specified using the
asterisk (*) character; in this case, any password received from the adjacent MTA is
accepted as valid.
REM-THEIR-PASSW-RSP
specifies the password expected from the adjacent MTA in a bind confirmation—
that is, the password an adjacent MTA must provide in response to our attempt to
access it. If REM-LOGON-VALIDATION is ON, this attribute is required. This
value has a maximum length of 62 characters. A null password can be specified
using the asterisk (*) character; in this case, any password received from the
adjacent MTA is accepted as valid.
