ADD ROUTE Command
X121-ADDR
specifies the X.121 address. This value has a maximum length of 15 numeric
characters. OSI/MHS supports both partial wild-carding and full wild-carding of
this attribute. For details, see Wild-Card Notation in ROUTE and APPL X.121
Addresses and Numeric User Identifiers on page 1-11 of this manual.
Considerations
•
The most important attributes for a ROUTE command are the O/R name attributes.
To define a route for a single user, the complete O/R name for the user can be
specified in the route. To define a route for a set of users, the common O/R name
attributes for users can be specified.
•
See Section 1, Introduction, for information about using wild-cards in O/R object
names and command attributes.
•
The PRI attribute is used to set preference among several routes to the same X.400
user(s). When a message is sent, a route with a higher priority is used in preference
to a route with a lower priority.
Example
This command adds ROUTE object $ZMHS.#TOKYO.PROUTE to an OSI/MHS
subsystem and specifies some of the attributes you can use with the ADD ROUTE
command:
ADD ROUTE $ZMHS.#TOKYO.PROUTE, PRI 5, &
ISO-COUNTRY-NAME JN, ADMD PTT1
