ALTER CLASS Command
ALTER CLASS Command
The ALTER CLASS command changes the configuration of an MHS class. This is a
sensitive command.
OUT file-spec
directs any SCF output generated for this command to the specified file.
[\psystem.]$proc.#class
is the name of the CLASS object to be altered.
attribute-spec
is a specification of an attribute and a value to be assigned to it.
The attribute-spec for the ALTER CLASS command is identical to that of the
ADD CLASS command listed earlier in this section with the exception listed in
“Considerations” below.
Considerations
•
For the MS class, the NUMBER-OF-MAILBOXES attribute cannot be altered.
•
For the MR class, if a CLEANER-TIME attribute is being altered, the complete list
of the existing CLEANER-TIME attributes must be specified, whether or not the
other attributes are being altered.
•
For MR CLASS objects, the following attributes can be altered regardless of the
state of the MR CLASS object:
