STATS Command Displays
BUFFER MEMORY:
is displayed only in abnormal circumstances when there is a problem obtaining
memory from the extended memory pool.
Config-bytes
records the total number of bytes assigned to this pool. This value is fixed when
the pool is originally allocated, but may grow if the pool allocation is
automatically adjusted.
Curr-bytes
records the total number of bytes currently allocated from the pool. If the values
recorded here are consistently near one-half of the total pool size, it indicates
that the pool may be overused.
Curr-frags
records the number of fragments in the available storage. A large value
indicates a problem in storage utilization.
Fail-last-mem-req
records the amount of storage in the last request for memory that was rejected
since process initialization, the last backup takeover, or the last RESETSTATS.
Growth-count
records the number of times the pool was enlarged due to storage pressure. It is
in the range 0 through 65535.
Growth-time
records when the last growth of the pool occurred.
Max-bytes-alloc
records the maximum number of bytes allocated from the pool at any one time
since process initialization, the last backup takeover, or the last RESETSTATS.
Max-frags
records the maximum number of fragments in available storage since process
initialization, the last backup takeover, or the last RESETSTATS.
Reset-Time
records the latest time at which process initialization, backup takeover, or
RESETSTATS occurred.
Sample-Time
records when the sample was taken.
