VERSION Command

The VERSION command displays the version banner of the PROCESS and null

objects. This is a nonsensitive command.

OUT file-spec

directs any SCF output generated for this command to the specified file.

object-spec

The object-spec for the VERSION command is one of the following:

DETAIL

causes the command to produce a detailed display. If this parameter is omitted, a

summary display is printed.

Examples

This command obtains version information for the indicated null and PROCESS

objects:

VERSION $ZMHS

VERSION PROCESS $ZMHS.#RTS1

VERSION Command Displays

The information displays that result from entry of a VERSION command for the null

and PROCESS object types are shown on the following pages.

VERSION Display (null object type)

An example of the display for the VERSION command without the DETAIL option and

for which the object type is null is:

VERSION [ / OUT file-spec / ] object-spec [ , DETAIL ]
