DESELECT Command
•
The SELECT command accepts all valid keywords including those that translate
into bit masks; however, the confirmation text displays the 32-bit mask value only if
that value is nonzero.
•
The enumerated list of keywords (or the numeric values, if no trace file is currently
open) is always displayed.
DESELECT Command
The DESELECT command deletes specified criteria previously selected by the SELECT
command.
ALL
deselects all trace-selection options.
number
is the numeric value that a keyword represents. The possible values are described in
the previously described SELECT command.
keyword
selects the information in the trace file that you want to format and display. The
possible values are described in the previously described SELECT command.
Consideration
Generally, the confirmation display rules for the DESELECT command are the same as
those for the SELECT command: that is, the Select Mask is displayed only if its value
is nonzero. The display for enumerated-keyword lists differs when keywords are
deselected from a list originally defined using the keyword ALL. In this case, the
display shows the heading ALL except the following: followed by the keyword list.
LABEL Command
The LABEL command controls the amount of the formatted display of trace records.
The exact format of the display is as follows.
DESELECT [ ALL ]
[ number ]
[ ( number [ , number ] ... ) ]
[ keyword ]
[ ( keyword [ , keyword ] ... ) ]
LABEL [ ON ]
[ OFF ]
