Trace Record Formats
Trace Record Formats
Trace records are produced for two object types: PROCESS and MON. The trace
records for these object types are shown on the following pages.
MON Trace Records
All of the trace records in this section are produced by OSI/MHS manager type
processes.
Module Trace Records
These record trace data for procedure entries called in the OSI/MHS manager process.
Each module trace record may be up to 255 characters long, and consists of a text string
together with up to four variable parameters. These parameters may be numeric or
alphabetic. At present, no parameters are used, and the text string contains the name of
the called procedure.
Command
can be any one of the commands ABORT, ACTIVATE, ADD, ALTER, DELETE,
INFO, LISTOPENS, RESETSTATS, START, STATS, STATUS, STOP, SUSPEND,
or TRACE.
Thread
is the thread number in a multithreaded environment. A manager process can have
multiple units of work in progress, each represented by a numbered thread.
