ADD CLASS Command
TOTAL-ASSOCS
specifies the maximum number of incoming and outgoing associations a single MR
group can support. This value is in the range 5 through 20. The default value is 10.
URGENT-COUNT
specifies the maximum number of urgent messages the MRP can have on its queue
for a given destination before it attempts to establish an association with the adjacent
MTA. The MR group can initiate an association with an adjacent MTA before this
count if a message has been on the queue for URGENT-TIME length of time. This
value is in the range 1 through 25. The default value is 3.
URGENT-ROUTE-RETRY-DELAY
specifies the time the MR group has to wait after it has exhausted all the routes for
sending an urgent message, before it can retry starting with the first route. This
value is expressed in minutes, and the range is 0 through 36000. The value 0 means
an infinite time is allowed; that is, no route retry attempts are made. The default
value is 10. This attribute applies to probe and urgent-priority messages.
URGENT-ROUTE-RETRY-GROW
specifies the percentage increase of the delay between attempts to route messages to
adjacent MTAs. This increase is applied to the URGENT-ROUTE-RETRY-DELAY
attribute each time there is an attempt to reroute the message. This value is in the
range 0 through 200 percent. The default value is 0. This attribute applies to probe
and urgent-priority messages.
ALTERing the URGENT-ROUTE-RETRY-DELAY or the URGENT-ROUTE-
RETRY-GROW attributes causes a recalculation of the current delay between
rerouting attempts for probe and urgent-priority messages. This delay is calculated
using the following formula:
delay = URGENT-ROUTE-RETRY-DELAY *
(1 + URGENT-ROUTE-RETRY-GROW/100)^ attempts
where ^ means βto the power of,β and attempts means the number of times the
message has been on the route-retry queue (including this time).
URGENT-ROUTE-RETRY-TIME
specifies the maximum time allowed for transit of urgent-priority user MPDUs and
probe MPDUs within the entire MHS. After this time, nondelivery reports are
generated for user and probe MPDUs. This value is expressed in minutes, and the
range is 0 through 36000. The value 0 means an infinite time is allowed; that is, no
route retry attempts are made. The default value is 240. This attribute applies to
probe and urgent-priority messages.
URGENT-TIME
specifies the maximum time the MR group can wait after an URGENT message
arrives on its queue for an adjacent MTA, before it must attempt to establish an
association with the adjacent MTA. The MR group can initiate an association with
