ADD GATEWAY Command
Considerations
•
If an exit gateway is specified (that is, if GW-TYPE is P1-EXIT), messages received
by OSI/MHS from any local MS APPL object or from any gateway are not sent to
the exit gateway. These messages are processed normally by OSI/MHS.
•
No APPL objects can be defined for an exit gateway (that is, if GW-TYPE is
P1-EXIT).
•
Only one exit gateway (GW-TYPE is P1-EXIT) can be defined for an OSI/MHS
subsystem.
•
If the password is null, then no password checking is done.
Example
This command adds GATEWAY object $ZMHS.#TG to the OSI/MHS subsystem and
specifies some of the attributes you can use with the ADD GATEWAY command:
ADD GATEWAY $ZMHS.#TG, VINTAGE 84, VALIDATION ON, &
GW-PNAME $EM1, GW-PNAME $EM2
