Benefits of Using CHECK SU
Although the CHECK SU command is similar to a combination of the separate 
commands STATUS SU TSP and STATUS LINE NSP, the CHECK SU command is 
more useful for the following reasons:
•
You can get information for the OSI/TS subsystem and the underlying subsystems 
(X25AM and TLAM/PAM) at once, with one command.
•
The selection specifiers filter the information, displaying only what you 
are interested in. The ERRORONLY option is particularly helpful for selecting only 
the subdevices that are in an error state. This attribute is most useful when used in 
conjunction with a wild card specifier for the subdevice name.
•
You don’t always need to enter the name of an subdevice. The wild card feature 
allows you to find any subdevices that are being used by a specified connection.
