ZESIS-QUERY-TIME
is the maximum amount of time the ES-IS protocol should wait for a reply to
its inquiry of NSAP-SNPA mapping before retrying or terminating its inquiry.
This field is applicable only if ZESIS-ENABLE is set to ZSPI-VAL-TRUE. The
waiting time is expressed in hundredths of a second (0.01 seconds per
increment). The values range from 1 (0.01 second) through 65500 (655
seconds).
ZESIS-QUERY-RETRY
is the maximum number of times unacknowledged NSAP-SNPA mapping
inquiries are retransmitted by the ES-IS protocol before the inquiry is
terminated. This field is applicable only if ZESIS-ENABLE is set to ZSPI-VAL-
TRUE. The values range from 0 through 32767.
ZIP-NULL-LAYER
controls the generation of the header for the inactive subset (the null network
layer) of the OSI internet protocol (IP). If set to ZSPI-VAL-TRUE, the header is
enabled; if set to ZSPI-VAL-FALSE, the header is disabled.
ZIP-LIFETIME
is the length of the interval in which an IPPDU can exist before being
discarded during its transit through the subnetwork. This field is applicable
only if the full IP subset is enabled. The interval is expressed in hundredths of
a second (0.01 seconds per increment), rounded down to the nearest half-
second. The values range from 100 (1 second) through 30000 (300 seconds).
ZIP-XSUM
controls whether a checksum is included in the outgoing IPDUs. This field is
applicable only if the full IP subset is enabled. If ZIP-XSUM is set to
ZSPI-VAL-TRUE, a checksum is included; if set to ZSPI-VAL-FALSE, a
checksum is not included.
ZIP-DISCARD-GEN-THLD
is the threshold value that the IP entity compares to the counter ZIP-
DISCARD-GEN. An L3-THLD event is generated whenever the counter value
is nonzero and dividing the counter value by the threshold value leaves a
remainder of zero. This field is applicable only if the full IP subset is enabled.
The values range from 0 through 65535. If the threshold is set to 0, events are
never generated.
ZIP-DISCARD-CONG-THLD
is the threshold value that the IP entity compares to the counter ZIP-
DISCARD-CONG. An L3-THLD event is generated whenever the counter
value is nonzero and dividing the counter value by the threshold value leaves
