Operational Notes
The values of the attributes returned by the INFO SU command reflect the
configuration of the SU through the ADD SU and ALTER SU commands.
Attributes changed by file-system SETPARAM requests are not reflected in the
values returned.
The actual attribute values used in a transport connection may differ from the
configuration values because of negotiation. The actual values can be obtained
with the STATUS SU command.
The combination of the SU attributes ZNSP-DEV, ZCLASS, ZX25DESTADDR,
ZIP-X25-SNDCF, ZIP-NULL-LAYER, ZLOC-NSAP, ZRMT-NSAP, ZLAN-LOC-
SNPA, and ZLAN-RMT-SNPA and the Layer 3 SERVICE attribute ZESIS-ENABLE
determines the protocol stack below the Transport Layer. Tables 5-4 and 5-5, in
the description of the ADD SU command, show how to select the correct
combination of attributes to obtain the desired protocol.
