OSI/TS Management Programming Manual

About This Manual
056786 Tandem Computers Incorporated
xix
TLAM Management Programming Manual describes the management programming
interface to the Tandem LAN Access Method (TLAM) subsystem. Since OSI/TS relies
on either X25AM or TLAM for lower-layer functions, a program written to manage
OSI/TS may also need to send commands to TLAM or to handle TLAM event
messages.
Other Tandem OSI
Manuals
In addition to the prerequisite manuals shown in the diagram, you may need to be
familiar with some of the other manuals in the Tandem OSI manual set. These
manuals describe various aspects of the management and use of OSI/TS and OSI/AS
subsystems.
SCF Reference Manual for Tandem OSI/TS describes the SCF commands used to
configure and manage the OSI/TS subsystem. These commands are the interactive
equivalents of the programmatic commands described in this manual.
Tandem OSI/AS Configuration and Management Manual describes the tasks necessary for
managing the OSI/AS subsystem.
Tandem OSI/AS Management Programming Manual describes the management
programming interface to the OSI/AS subsystem.
SCF Reference Manual for Tandem OSI/AS describes the SCF commands used to
configure and manage the OSI/AS subsystem. These commands are the interactive
equivalents of the programmatic commands described in the Tandem OSI/AS
Management Programming Manual.
Tandem OSI/AS Programming Manual describes the data communications
programmatic interface to the OSI/AS subsystem, which uses the APS procedures.
This interface allows applications using OSI/AS to communicate in the OSI
environment.
