OSI/TS Management Programming Manual

6 Event Messages
056786 Tandem Computers Incorporated 6–1
This section describes the contents and meaning of all event messages generated by
the OSI/TS subsystem.
In this section, command numbers, object types, and all tokens and their values are
represented in the Data Definition Language (DDL). For a quick explanation of DDL,
refer to the appendix “Overview of DDL for SPI” in the Distributed Systems
Management (DSM) Programming Manual.
Subsystem Processes
that Report Events
Both the Subsystem Control Point (SCP) and the OSI/TS subsystem can issue event
messages related to OSI/TS. Event messages issued by SCP contain the SCP
subsystem ID; those issued by OSI/TS contain the OSI/TS subsystem ID.
The OSI/TS subsystem ID is described under “SPI Standard Definitions” in Section 4
of this manual. The SCP subsystem ID and the event messages issued by SCP are
described in the Communications Management Programming Manual.
Within the OSI/TS subsystem, the TSP process issues event messages. Table 6-1 lists
the event messages that OSI/TS can issue.
