ZCOM-TKN-SUBJ-SU
is the fully qualified subdevice name.
ZSPI-TKN-ERRLIST and ZSPI-TKN-ENDLIST
enclose a standard SPI error list, as described in the Distributed Systems
Management (DSM) Programming Manual. The contents of this error list provide
information about the error that occurred.
ZSPI-TKN-ERROR
is the standard SPI error token described in the Distributed Systems
Management (DSM) Programming Manual. It contains the subsystem ID of
either X25AM (ZX25-VAL-SSID) or TLAM (ZLAM-VAL-SSID) in the Z-SSID
field and the ZX25, ZLAM, or ZCOM error number in the Z-ERROR field.
For information about these errors, refer to the Communications Management
Programming Manual and either the X25AM Management Programming Manual
or the TLAM Management Programming Manual.
ZCOM-TKN-OBJNAME
contains the subdevice name specified in the command that failed.
Probable Cause
OSI/TS was unable to add, start, abort, or delete an X25AM or TLAM subdevice,
possibly because of a configuration error.
Note that the Guardian 90 owner of the TSP process must be in the super group
(group ID 255); otherwise, requests from the TSP process to an underlying X25AM or
TLAM I/O process will fail with a security error.
Note also that the TSP process will fail in its attempt to add a PORT object to a TLAM
device if the LSAP address (that is, “FE”) has already been defined by another port. In
this case, TLAM will reject the ADD PORT command with DSM error 21. You should
check the existence of such PORT objects by using the TLAM INFO PORT command,
and delete all PORT objects with the LSAP address FE.
Recommended Action
If the error was caused by a configuration error, reconfigure the OSI/TS subdevices or
the OSIMGR configuration database. For deletion failures, the operator must
manually delete the subdevice using SCF. Otherwise, contact your Tandem
representative.
