Appendix E Status SU Attribute Values
056786 Tandem Computers Incorporated E–1
This appendix provide the possible values for three attributes in the STATUS SU DDL
structure, Z0S4-DDL-STATUS-SU-TSP. The three fields are ZX25-DISC-REASON,
ZX25CLEAR-CAUSE, and ZX25DIAGCODE.
ZX25-DISC-REASON Table E-1 is taken form Table 4-12, “reasons for Circuit Disconnection,” from the
Tandem X.25 Access Method (X25AM) Manual, Part no. 17464.
Table E-1. Reasons for Circuit Disconnection
Integer Reason for Circuit Disconnection

10 Incoming packet invalid for circuit state.
11 Restart Request issued.
12 Inconsistent internal data structure.
13 Incoming Call Request packet had invalid data or L3WINDOW holding buffers could
not be allocated.
14 Level-2 problem.
Integer <1>
nnn If <0> = 14, then <1> contains the applicable Guardian 90 error code.
Integer <2>
1 The line is logically down. (It has been downed with PUP or stopped with SCF or
CMI).
2 The line is logically up, but the physical circuit has not been established.
3 The line is logically up, and the physical circuit has been established.
Integer <3>
nnn If <2> = 1 or 2, then <3> contains the applicable Guardian 90 error code.
