INFO ROUTE Command
Type
shows the type of route entry. Some of the entries in this table are deleted after a
period of time. In the following descriptions, this is referred to as “aging out.” The
other entries do not age out, this is referred to as a static entry. Valid types are:
LOCAL
specifies a local NSAP entry, obtained from the configuration of the SU through
which a connection attempt (incoming or outgoing) has been made. This is a
static entry.
REMOTE
specifies two types of entries: 1) A remote NSAP entry, obtained from the
configuration of the SU whose remote NSAP was explicitly specified and
through which an outgoing connection request has been made. This is a static
entry. 2) A remote NSAP entry from an incoming connection request whose
NSAP was determined to have come from an end system that does not support
the ES-IS protocol. This type of entry ages out.
ES
specifies a remote end system NSAP entry obtained dynamically by the ES-IS
protocol. This type of entry ages out.
IS
specifies an intermediate system entry obtained dynamically by the ES-IS
protocol. This type of entry ages out.
REDIRECT
specifies an end system entry that has been redirected by an intermediate system
dynamically by the ES-IS protocol. This type of entry ages out.
HoldTime
is the total amount of time that route information is held. For entries that age out,
the time value is displayed. For entries that are static, the word “STATIC” is
displayed instead of a time value.
RemainTime
is the amount of time remaining for the route information to be held. For entries
that age out, the time value is displayed. For entries that are static, the word
“STATIC” is displayed instead of a time value.
