DETAIL Command
DETAIL Command
The DETAIL command controls the level of detail of the information displayed. The
following table shows the additional information you will get with DETAIL ON and the
appropriate filter option(s) selected.
DETAIL [ ON ] [ OFF ]
Considerations for the DETAIL Command
The considerations contain information about command use that should be read before
studying the command syntax in too much detail.
If the DETAIL command is not used, OFF is assumed.
If DETAIL is specified without ON of OFF, ON is assumed.
The RESET and FROM commands set DETAIL to OFF.
FILTER Command
The FILTER command enables more detailed screening within the SELECT command
options you have chosen. It allows you to select records for display according to the
content of the record. If you do not use the FILTER command, the default values for the
filter-options are used.
There are two ways of filtering captured data:
by trace record type or subtype, for example, FILTER TPDU These filters can also
be set to screen out a particular trace record, for example, FILTER NOTPDU
by subdevice identifier in the trace record for example, FILTER L4SU #Z000000.
Thus only records pertaining to the named subdevice will be displayed.
