File Header Record
File Header Record
The file header record displays identification information specific to the trace file.
Trace of
shows the device type and subtype of the process that is traced. The device type and
subtype identify the process that created the file. The following table identifies the
device type and subtypes for the TSP process:
Ptrace Data File
shows the file containing the trace data.
Trace started
shows the date and time that the trace was started.
First trace entry
shows the timestamp of the first data record.
Last trace entry
shows the timestamp of the last data record.
Trace entry size limit
shows the maximum length of records in the file in bytes. This value is the
RECSIZE specified in the SCF TRACE command.
Header Format
The format of the first line of all trace records is the same: Each trace record displayed
is preceded by a header line of the following format:
Trace of: \NET.$FTI1, Type (55,4).
