transport service user
and for the Internet Protocol (IP) of the network service provider (NSP) process. TSP
processes are provided by the underlying OSI/TS subsystem.
transport service user. An abstract representation of all entities within a single system that
make use of the transport service.
TSAP. See transport selector (TSEL)

ViewPoint. An extensible, interactive console application for operators, provided as part of
Distributed Systems Management (DSM)

X.25 Access Method (X25AM). A Compaq product that implements, for WANs, the services
of the network service provider (NSP) process
and layers below.
X.25 network. Any network or subnetwork linked using X.25 standards. X.25 standards are
CCITT standards that define packet switching carrier communication in the network
service provider (NSP) process over wide area networks (WANs).
