ALTER SERVICE #L4 Command
Default: 0
INBOUNDTPDUPROTOERRTHLD
is the threshold value that the Transport Layer compares to the counter
INBOUNDTPDUPROTOERR. INBOUNDTPDUPROTOERR is the number of
times the subsystem receives a TPDU (other than a CR-TPDU) that can be
associated with a transport connection and is invalid or constitutes a protocol error.
Value: 0 through 65535
If the threshold is 0, threshold events are never generated for this counter.
Default: 0
INBOUNDTPDUXSUMERRTHLD
is the threshold value that the Transport Layer compares to the counter
INBOUNDTPDUXSUMERR. INBOUNDTPDUXSUMERR is the number of
times the subsystem discarded a TPDU due to checksum failure.
Value: 0 through 65535
If the threshold is 0, threshold events are never generated for this counter.
Default: 0
L4TIMEOUTTHLD
is the threshold value that the Transport Layer compares to the counter
L4TIMEOUT. L4TIMEOUT is the number of times the subsystem exceeded the
maximum number of retransmissions in attempting to send a TPDU.
Value: 0 through 65535
If the threshold is 0, threshold events are never generated for this counter.
Default: 0
L4WINDOW
specifies the maximum credit allocation to the remote transport entity. This is the
number of TPDUs that can be sent by the remote transport entity without
acknowledgment. This attribute is valid only when the transport protocol class is 1,
2, 3, or 4, but see below, because this attribute performs differently when the
transport protocol class is 1.
Value: 0 through 15
Default: 4
When the transport protocol class is 1, specify 0 or 1 (a value of 0 is interpreted as
1). For transport class 1, the use of values 2 through 15 could lead to a deadlock
situation when the sending transport entity waits for the acknowledgment of each
DT-TPDU before it sends the next one.
