ALTER SU Command
NETTYPE
specifies the quality of the network services. See the considerations for the ALTER
command for a discussion of the relationship between the ALTCLASS, CLASS,
MULTIPLEX, and NETTYPE attributes.
Value: A | B | C
NSPDEVICE
specifies the name of the SYSGEN-configured X25AM or TLAM I/O (for D-series,
or PAM subsystems for G06 and above releases) process that controls access to the
subnetwork.
Value: To obtain this value, issue the following SCF command:
LISTDEV X25AM for X.25 networks
or
LISTDEV TLAM/PAM for LAN networks
Use TLAM (for D-series, or PAM subsystems for G06 and above releases).
RECVSECURITY
specifies whether security checking is performed on incoming CR-TPDUs. If
security checking is specified, only incoming CR-TPDUs that have matching
characters in the protection field are accepted. If a value is not provided, no security
checking is performed. This attribute is valid only when the transport protocol class
is 1, 2, 3, or 4.
Note that not all transport protocol implementations support this attribute.
RESET returns this attribute to the default value (no security checking specified).
Value: An ASCII string up to 16 characters long.
REFTIMEOUT
specifies the amount of time before which no reference or sequence numbers are
reused.
Value: 3.000 through 180.000 (3 through 180 seconds)
