Fallback Issues
1. If you uninstalled TSM components, reinstall those TSM components. TSM server
components continue to be delivered on the SUT, and TSM client components are
delivered on the NonStop System Console (NSC) Installer CD.
2. Abort and disable OSM server processes: $ZOSM, $ZCMOM and $ZOEV.
•
In SCF, abort processes $ZZKRN.#OSM-CIMOM, $ZZKRN.#OSM-APPSRVR
and $ZZKRN.#OSM-OEV.
•
In SCF, alter processes $ZZKRN.#OSM-CIMOM, $ZZKRN.#OSM-APPSRVR
and $ZZKRN.#OSM-OEV to be StartMode "MANUAL."
3. Modify the $SYSTEM.ZSERVICE.TSMINI file
•
Edit the TSMINI file
•
Remove any entries that begin with "nocpuia"
•
Remove any entries that begin with "noccesniff"
•
Change the 'ExecutePowerTest’ entry to "yes"
4. Disable the OSM Automatic Line Handler process and enable the TSM Automatic
Line Handler process.
•
Run $SYSTEM.ZOSMLH.DISABLE
•
Run $SYSTEM.ZAUTOLH.ENABLE
5. Abort, enable and start the TSM server process $ZTSM.
•
In SCF, abort process $ZZKRN.#TSM-SRM.
•
In SCF, ensure that process $ZZKRN.#TSM-SRM is configured to be
StartMode “APPLICATION.”
•
In SCF, start process $ZZKRN.#TSM-SRM.
6. Start the TSM Event Viewer Server processes $ZCVP0 and $ZCVP1.
•
If processes $ZZKRN.#CEV-SERVER-MANAGER-P0 and $ZZKRN.#CEV-
SERVER-MANAGER-P1 are not started, start them.
7. Stop and disable the OSM Notification Director on the NSC Console.
•
In Windows, stop the OSM Notification Director Service.
•
In Windows, change the OSM Notification Director Service to be Startup Type
"Disabled."
8. Enable and Start the TSM Notification Director on the NSC Console.
•
In Windows, copy (do not move) the shortcut for the TSM Notification Director
from the Compaq TSM program group to the Startup program group.
•
Start and configure the TSM Notification Director.
