Where to Get More Information
NonStop S-Series Hardware Installation and FastPath Guide – Describes how to
install and start a NonStop S-series server for the first time. It includes information
about installing server hardware, cabling system enclosures, installing and starting
system consoles, installing external system devices, starting the server, and
configuring the server after startup.
NonStop System Console Installer Guide – Describes how to upgrade a system
console to the latest versions of the system console applications delivered on the
HP NonStop System Console S7X-SWV1 CD. These applications include the OSM
client-based components.
OSM User’s Guide – Presents an overview of all OSM applications and components,
but mostly describes how to use the OSM Service Connection, the primary OSM
interface. Describes how to start and use the OSM Service Connection to monitor and
perform actions on system and cluster resources. The OSM User’s Guide is available
as online help within the OSM Service Connection and is also included in the NonStop
Technical Library (NTL) collection so you can access OSM information without having
an active OSM Service Connection.
For information on configuring and using the other OSM applications, see the online
help within each of these applications:
•
OSM Low-Level Link
•
OSM Notification Director
•
OSM Event Viewer
Online help is also available within each OSM guided procedure.
Online help is available from the Help menu of all OSM applications. To access
context-sensitive help topics (specific to the task or resource selected), click Help
button or press the F1 key with a GUI element selected.
