Maintenance Switch
An Ethernet switch that allows the OSM console to communicate with the Maintenance Entity (ME) in the ServerNet
switch board.

Interface action) by selecting Configuration tab > System Info > System Contact.
Contact
Indicates whether the switch is up or down.Device Status

Lists the port numbers of ports on the switch that have lines connected.Lines Connected
Lists the port numbers of ports on the switch that have been disconnected (since
the OSM server has been running).

Actions
Link to Web Interface
Opens a Web interface that provides detailed device configuration and information for the maintenance switch.
Rediscover
Causes OSM to refresh and reanalyze the object. Refresh refers to OSM updating the attribute values displayed in
the OSM Service Connection interface. Reanalyze refers to the running of OSM incident analysis, which checks EMS
event messages and creates alarms in OSM if certain conditions exist.
Stop Monitoring
Stops OSM from monitoring the maintenance switch.
