Recent OSM History
OSM Service Connection Suite was updated to T0682G07 AAM to support using a V4SE or V8SE, which OSM displays
under the VIO module object, as a replacement for a GESA on NonStop S-series servers.
At G06.30, the OSM Service Connection Suite was updated to T0682G07 AAV.
At G06.29, the OSM Service Connection Suite was updated to T0682G07 AAR. Enhancements included an improved
module-level Redundant Power Scrub test. (Click the link or see softdoc for details.)
At G06.28, the OSM Service Connection Suite was updated to T0682G07 AAL. Changes for AAL included:
Support for connecting HP Ultrium 960 LTO Fibre Channel tape drives (M8501, M8502, M8503, M8504, and
M8505) to a Nonstop S-series system through an FCSA located in an I/O adapter module.
A Hard Reset action is now available for Processors (for use only when the Reset fails).
A Verify Physical Connectivity action is now available for Fibre channel (FC) disks.
Set Physical Location action is now available for the IOAM Enclosure and Fibre Channel Disk Module (FCDM)
objects. It replaces individual actions allowing you to specify Rack Name, Rack Offset, and Locator text in a
single action.
Hardware terminology changes since G06.27: A Disk Drive Enclosure is now displayed in the OSM Service
Connection as an FCDM (Fibre Channel Disk Module). In the hierarchical tree pane, FCDMs are now located
under an FCDM Collection object (formerly called Daisy Chain Disk Enclosure).
