Contact
Configurable contact name set in the web interface (launched by the Link to
Web Interface action) by selecting Configuration tab > System Info > System
Contact.
Type Displays the model version of the switch.
Device Status Indicates whether the switch is up or down.
Firmware Revision The version of the firmware running on the switch.
IP Address The IP address of the switch.
Lines Connected Lists the port numbers of ports on the switch that have lines connected.
Lines Disconnected
Lists the port numbers of ports on the switch that have been disconnected
(since the OSM server has been running).
Location
Configurable location identifier set in the web interface (launched by the Link
to Web Interface action) by selecting Configuration tab > System Info >
System Name.
MAC Address The media access control (MAC) address of the switch.
ROM Version The version of the startup bootcode for the switch.
Serial Number A unique identification number assigned to each switch in manufacturing.

Link to Web Interface
Opens a Web interface that provides detailed device configuration and information for the
maintenance switch.
Rediscover
Causes OSM to refresh and reanalyze the object. Refresh refers to OSM updating the attribute values
displayed in the OSM Service Connection interface. Reanalyze refers to the running of OSM incident
analysis, which checks EMS event messages and creates alarms in OSM if certain conditions exist.
Stop Monitoring
Stops OSM from monitoring the maintenance switch.
MIOE (Ethernet Controller)
Attributes
Actions
A component of PMF and PMF2 CRUs located in Group 1 only. Provides connectivity between the
service processor and the dedicated service LAN (for OSM). Each MIOE represents a single Ethernet
port, known as a Physical Interface (PIF) object. Each PIF is associated with a service processor (SP)
in Group 1.
