A system is made up of all the hardware components, software, and firmware that are managed by a
single operating system. Internal hardware components are housed in enclosures and are arranged in
groups, modules, and slots. User-replaceable components are known as customer-replaceable units
(CRUs). Components that must be replaced by your service provider are known as field-replaceable
units (FRUs). Both CRUs and FRUs can contain subcomponents.

Service State
Displayed in the Attributes tab and Attributes dialog box only if the value is
something other than OK. Values

Stored Topology
The maximum processor configuration for the service processor that will be
set the next time the system or enclosure is powered on. Values
System Type
Whether the system is a standard Commercial system or a special Telco
system.
Current Topology
The maximum processor configuration for the service processor. Values
System Serial Number
A unique identification number assigned to a server when it is
manufactured. This number is passed automatically to your service provider
when OSM dials out an incident report. Your service provider tracks
systems using system serial numbers.
Operating System
Version
The release version update of the operating system that is running on the server.
Example: G06.26
Other values that might be displayed for Operating System Version are Not Running and
Halted.
System Services
