Physical
Part Number
The part number of the component that was assigned in manufacturing. Use
part numbers for identifying and ordering parts.
Rack Name An arbitrary name assigned through the Set Rack Name and Offset action.
Rack Offset
A number assigned through the Set Rack Name and Offset action, intended to
describe the physical location of the enclosure within the rack.
Hardware Revision
A code that identifies the generation of the component. Hardware revision
codes are used for tracking components.
Type The vendor hardware type.
Logical
Vendor Product ID
The product identifier of the component assigned to it by the supplier of
the component.
World Wide Name A unique, 64-bit number assigned to the hardware ports.
Locator
User-assigned text that can be used to help identify the module. The text
is assigned by using the Set Locator action.
Vendor Product Revision
A code that identifies the generation of the component. Assigned by the
supplier of the component.
Path B State The current state of disk path B (Up or Down).
Path A State The current state of disk path A (Up or Down).
Vendor Serial Number
The serial number of the component assigned to it by the supplier of the
component.
