Identificaton Information
Displays additional information about the UPS as set by super-user in the
web interface (see the Link to Web Interface action). Up to 20 characters
are allowed.
Example: UPS Web Card
IP Address The IP address of the UPS.
Serial Number
The unique number assigned to the UPS in manufacturing. Knowing the
serial number is especially helpful when you need to replace batteries or
required other service.
Example: TU321A1185
Type
Displays the UPS model version.
Example: R5500 XR
UPS Location
Displays the physical location of the UPS as set by the super-user in the
Link to Web Interface action.
VA Rating
This is the apparent power rating of the UPS, expressed in Volt-Amperes.
Example: 12000 VA
Actions
Link to Web Interface
Launches a browser-based configuration interface for the UPS, which provides additional
information and configuration options for the UPS.
Rediscover
Causes OSM to refresh and reanalyze the object. Refresh refers to OSM updating the attribute values
displayed in the OSM Service Connection interface. Reanalyze refers to the running of OSM incident
analysis, which checks EMS event messages and creates alarms in OSM if certain conditions exist.
Stop Monitoring
Stops OSM from monitoring the UPS.
CLIM Collection

Actions
A collection object that represents the collection of all CLIM (Cluster Internet Machine) devices
configured on a system. When one or more CLIMs are configured on a system, a CLIM Collection
object appears in the tree pane and a corresponding CLIM object appears in the overview pane of the
OSM Service Connection. In both panes, this object displays a yellow icon if alarms or degraded
conditions exist on any of the individual CLIMs contained within. You can expand the CLIM
