The NSCMD Agent in the HP Operations environment exploits the correlation and automation capabilities of HP
Operations and NNM for initiating corrective actions on the HP NonStop servers from the HP Operations
consoles. It establishes an extended Multiple Console Support (MCS) and receives HP NonStop commands from
the OVNM server components. It also sends the commands to the defined console, receives the response
messages from NonStop systems and sends the responses back to the OVNM server component that initiated the
command.
