3-3 Event View
The Event View pane in the Console window lists all the events for the selected HP NonStop Host
along with the severity levels.

The Event View pane displays the following information.
• Severity
This column displays the status of the event. This status may be Critical, Major, Minor, Warning,
Normal or Unknown. The severity will be determined by the value in the eEvents panel of the
OCC.
• Receive Time
This column displays the time when the event was received.
• Generation Time
This column displays the time when the event was generated.
• Process
This column displays the process name.
• SSID
The SSID column displays the unique subsystem ID.
• Event Number
Each kind of event message that a subsystem can generate must have an associated Event
Number that should be unique within that subsystem. The combination of the subsystem and the
event number defines the content and interpretation of the event message. This Event Number
is displayed in the Event Number column.
• OVO
This column shows whether the events are being sent to HP Operations Manager or not. The
events, which are being sent to HP Operations Manager are marked P and the events which
have been blocked from being sending to HP Operations Manager are marked as D.
• Event Text
This column displays the event text. The number of lines displayed per event is configurable per
policy.
