This option enables you to select the fields to be displayed in the Event View pane. Select the
fields from the list and click on the Add button to add the field to the Current Fields list.
• Current Fields
The Current Fields list displays the selected fields that will be displayed in the Event View pane. To
remove a field from the list, select the field(s) and click on the Remove button. You can change
the order in which the fields will be displayed by using the Move Up and Move Down buttons,
respectively.
• Font
You can specify the font in which the information is to be displayed using the Font drop-down
box.
• Size
Use the Size box to specify the font size for the events in the Event View pane.
• Number of lines per row
This option enables you to change the number of lines in which the information will be displayed
in the Event View pane. The range is 1-9. The default value is 2.
Event Filtering Tab
The Event Filtering tab page in the New Policy dialog box enables you to apply filters and display
filtered events in the Console window.

You can create Boolean Expressions, which will be tested against all the incoming events. You can
specify to:
• Evaluate expression as a FAIL filter: In this case, all the events passing the expression are filtered
out of the display.
• Evaluate expression as a PASS filter: In this case, only the events passing the expression are
added to the display.
To create a new Boolean expression or to edit an existing expression, click on the Edit button.
