To specify a new action, click on the New button. This displays the Enter Action Name dialog box. You
can either specify a new name in the Action Name box, or clone the settings of an existing action
using the Copy settings from existing action check box.

To specify the Boolean expression after which action is to be executed, use the Edit button.
Use the various check boxes in the Execute following actions section to select the action to be
performed. The options available are:
• Sound Alarm
• Show Message Box
• Log event to Application Log
• Do not show event in view
After specifying information in the New Policy dialog box, click on the OK button to save and close
the dialog box. To close the dialog box without saving the changes, click on the Cancel button.
4-2 Importing Policies
Console enables you to import policies through the Import option in the Policies menu. Alternatively
policies can also be imported through the Import option in the right-click menu of the Management
pane.
To import policies perform the following steps:
1. Select the Import option from the Policies menu. The Import Policies dialog box is displayed.
