Select the HP NonStop node using the Node drop-down box. A default window name where the
query results will be logged is displayed in the Window Name box. You can also specify a custom
window name according to your requirements. A maximum length of 20 characters is allowed.
You can specify the event source as Collector or EMS Logfile using the corresponding radio buttons.
The other fields displayed in the Event Source area will depend on the event source selected.
If using a Collector based query, you can specify a maximum of 10 collectors using the Collector box.
These collectors can either be directly provided in the form of a comma separated values in the edit

default the search string is a “*”.
Use the following rules for a valid search string for a collector:
1. The search string can be a wildcard character: ‘*’ or ‘?’ by itself
Or
2. It must start with a dollar sign and then have up to 5 more characters including “*” and “?”.
