5-1-6 Send Test Message
The Send Test Message feature allows you to check the communication between the HP NonStop
Node(s) and the HP Operations Manager Server.
Sending a Test Message
Double-click on the Send Test Message icon in the Management pane to send a test message.
This displays the Send Test Message dialog box.

Select the HP NonStop nodes in the Send To box in the Nodes area where you want to send the test
message. The Select All button allows you to select all the configured nodes displayed in the Send To
field. The Unselect All button allows you to uncheck all the nodes. In order to specify different values
of Collector and Message for the configured node type the values in the corresponding fields and
click on the Set button
Click on the OK button to send the test message. This displays the Finished dialog box giving
information that the request has been executed.
