5-5 Application Service Map and Service IDs
Within the NonStop Server Application View there are currently six Service Map components installed. Below
each Service Map component is the Service ID assigned.

Process
This is a generic component intended to be used to indicate that a NonStop Sever application Process has
generated an EMS event or the OVNM monitored Process Object has generated a threshold violation.
There are processes monitored by OVNM default Policies, which utilizes the NSSAPP:PROC Service ID.
TS/MP
This component is intended to be used to indicate that a NonStop Sever application server TS/MP
(Pathway) has generated an EMS event or the OVNM monitored Process Object has generated a threshold
violation.
TS/MP (Pathway) application servers monitored by OVNM default Policies utilizes the NSSAPP:PWY
Service ID.
TM/MP
This component is intended to be used to indicate that the NonStop Sever Transaction Monitor (TM/MP
TMF) has generated an EMS event or the OVNM monitored TMF Object has generated a threshold
violation.
TM/MP (TMF) is monitored by OVNM default Policies and utilizes the NSSAPP:TMF Service ID when a
threshold violation occurs.
ITP
This component is intended to be used to indicate that the NonStop Severs Web Server (ITP) has generated
an EMS event or the OVNM monitored TMF Object has generated a threshold violation.
Currently there are no OVNM default Policies that utilizes the Service ID= NSSAPP:ITP.
TelServ
This component is intended to be used to indicate that the NonStop Severs Telnet Services have generated
an EMS event or the OVNM monitored Telserv Object has generated a threshold violation.
Currently there are no OVNM default Policies that utilizes the Service ID= NSSAPP:TELS.
Spooler
This component is intended to be used to indicate that the NonStop Severs Spooler has generated an EMS
event or that the OVNM monitored Spooler Objects has generated a threshold violation.
Currently there are OVNM default Policies that utilizes the Service ID= NSSAPP:SPI.
