HPOM Message Variable Mapping with OVNM
APPLICATION This variable is set to OVNM.
OBJECT • For OVNM generated messages, this variable is set to the threshold object name of
the OCC policy e.g. CPU number, disk name, process name etc.
• For NON-OVNM generated messages, this variable is set to the SSID of the EMS
event message.
NODE This variable is set to the value of the NODE name entry in the elink.cfg file.
SERVICE_ID This variable is set to the Service ID that was defined during the object policy in the OCC,
otherwise none.
GROUP • On Windows Management Server, this variable is set to the message group that was
defined during the object policy in the OCC, otherwise none.
• On UNIX Management Server, this variable is set to NonStop by HP Operations
Manager policy template.
MSG_TEXT This variable is set to the event text of the EMS event message.
