1-5 Event Integration and OVNM Agents
OVNM Agents collect HP NonStop event message and package the EMS messages into a defined data structure.
These messages are then mapped into the HP Operations Manager environment. These HP NonStop event
message are collected and monitored according to predefined rules and filters. The actions performed on the
mapped events are then forwarded to the OVNM server components through OVNM agents. OVNM agents are
also responsible for configuring OVNM server components for monitoring HP NonStop systems.
OVNM NSS SPI Agent is responsible of collecting HP NonStop system events and then feeding into the HP
Operations Manager Event Browser.
