3-2-2 Edit a Filter
1. Select an item, service, node, or node group from the console tree.
2. Select the Message Filter icon from the console toolbar. This displays the Apply Message Filter dialog box.

3. From the Message Filters list, select the name of the filter that you want to edit.
4. Click on the Edit button to open the Filter Properties dialog box.
5. Edit the existing information in the General, Time, Message Source, Message Properties and Message
CMA Properties tabs.
6. When you finish editing the filter, click on the Activate button in the Apply field to save your changes.
7. Click on the Close button to save your edited filter and close the dialog box.
NOTE: If the filter you are editing is being used by at least one message browser, you will see a message
asking you to save the filter under a different name.
