Appendix B: Custom Installation
The Custom installation allows you to customize the selection of OVNM components to be installed. This option is
recommended for advanced users.
Selecting the Custom option displays the Select Features screen.
The options available are:
• OCC
An interactive and user-friendly interface, which is used to define the desired state of a NonStop object in
operation. It allows you to create, modify and delete threshold configurations and perform active
monitoring and management of events.
• Console
A software product, which provides real-time and customized monitoring of events in different states for
your enterprise. Console provides drill down, real-time and customized viewing of event states. It allows
proactive monitoring for mission critical systems, with an all-in-one group of Telnet, user applications and
URLs, providing a next generation approach to business critical issues.
• ObjectMap
ObjectMAP is an application that brings real time and customized monitoring of object states at the Group,
Sub-Group, System, Subsystem, Threshold and Object levels for your Enterprise. It provides drill down, real
time and customized viewing of object states at different levels.
