2-3 Upgrading OVNM to a Newer Version
Upgrading OVNM from previously installed version to a the newer version involves the upgrading folloiwng
components in the below-mentioned order.
1. Upgrading OVNM Components on Windows
2. Upgrading OVNM Components on the HPOM Server
3. Upgrading OVNM Agent on the HP NonStop Server
4. Testing upgrade
2-3-1 Upgrading OVNM Components on Windows
To upgrade OVNM Components on Windows, perform the following steps.
1. Run the OVNMInstallation.exe file. The HP-OVNM message box is displayed. Click the Yes button to
continue.
2. The install shelid prompts you to close all the OVNM components running on the workstation. Click the OK
button to continue.

3. The HP-OVNM Welcome screen is displayed. The Modify option is selected by default. Click the Next
button to continue.
