3 Installing OVNM on HP NonStop Server
To help you with the installation process, it is recommended that you fill the Installation Information form provided
in Appendix A: Installation Information.
To install OVNM on HP NonStop Server, perform the following steps.
1. Click the Start  Programs  HP OVNM  NonStop Server Tools  Host Installation Client to start the
installation process.

WARNING!
For installing OVNM Agent on the NonStop server using the Host Installation client:
• The user performing the installation must have ftp and telnet privileges on the NonStop host.
• There should be no firewall on the ports being used for telnet and ftp operations.
• The installation on the HP NonStop server can also be performed using the INSTALL macro.
