Port number for Elink connection with
the HP NonStop system. This will be
used for Console and the Enterprise

You cannot have duplicate environment
definitions where the IP and Ports all
match. In other words, you cannot use

Config Client Port Port number for the Object
Configuration Client connection. It will
also be used with ObjectMap and
ObjectStats.

Priority
Priority of the main OVNM process.
• Default: 160
• Recommended range: 100-199
Alive Message
Interval
The time interval in minutes, after which
Host components send an Alive
message to the front-end. No message
is sent by default (value 0).

Primary CPU
Primary CPU for the main OVNM
process.
• Default: 0
• Recommended range: 0-15
Backup CPU
Backup CPU for the main OVNM
process.
• Default: 1
• Recommended range: 0-15
Filesys Threshold
Option
The Filesys Threshold Option check box
allows you to configure the generation
of alerts for the Filesys/File thresholds. If
this box IS checked, then OVNM will
generate an alert if the file you are
monitoring has been purged OR the file
violated the particular threshold. If this
box is NOT checked, then an alert will
only be generated when the file exists
AND the file violates the threshold. For
example:
Box is NOT checked
Threshold: Filesys/File threshold set for
Percent Full > 80
If the file is purged, NO alert will be
generated.
• Example 1: Box IS checked: Threshold:
Filesys/File threshold set for Percent Full
> 80
If the file is purged, an alarm will
be generated that will say "Current
state = critical, Violation if Percent
Full > 80, Current: Object does not
exist".
• Box is NOT checked: Threshold:
Filesys/File threshold set for Percent Full
> 80
If the file is purged, NO alert will
be generated.
