To specify how often the host

Giveup Interval
To specify the duration, in minutes, after
which the host application will stop
trying to send the e-mail and delete it
from the queue.
• Range: 1 - 600 minutes
• Default: 120 minutes
Retry Interval
To specify the retry interval. The retry
interval is the interval after which the
application tries to resend the mail if it
failed the last time.
• Range: 1 - 36000 seconds
• Default: 300 seconds
Log Sent
To specify whether or not you want
EMS messages to be generated
whenever an Email is sent.

The distributor and its corresponding collectors and filters defined in the Distributor panel is used by the EMON
process ($OVEMN). This portion of OVNM is responsible for sending messages to the Enterprise Management
System as well as the OVNM Console application.
There are two default distributors DIST01 and DIST02. The collectors and filters for DIST01 are $0 and
$SYSTEM.OVNM.PASSALL. The PASSALL filter passes all the events generated on the HP NonStop system. For
