5-4 Configuring the HPOM Environment
The following sections describe the configuration of the HPOM environment in HPOM 8 and HPOM9.
5-4-1 Configuring the HPOM8 Environment
The OVO/VPO ‘opc’ program will be used to configure the HP NonStop Server templates, and assign HPOM
users responsibilities. The NonStop Server icon is added to the OVO Node Bank Group after OVNM installation.
Perform the following tasks to configure the HPOM environment.
• Assign HP NonStop Server Template Group
• Deploy HP NonStop Server Template Group
• Set User Responsibilities and Applications
NOTE:
The "opc" program requires a User ID and Password. Please acquire them from the HPOM
Administrator.
5-4-1-1 Assign HP NonStop Server Template Group
1. The first step in deploying a template group is to open the OVO Node Bank window by selecting the
Window menu and then Clicking the Node Bank option.
